Moot and Ferris landed and stretched their legs.
"What's with all the media?" Ferris asked. Satellite trucks were parked around the perimeter of the hotel, impromptu setups of broadcast lights peppered the sidewalks and lawn leading to the nineteenth century behemoth of a building. Sprayed and cosmetically enhanced field reporters stood, microphones in hand, talking to no one and everyone.
"Something big must've happened..." replied Moot tensely. "CNN, NBC, Fox... national media outlets- is that Anderson Cooper?"
As their footsteps grew more urgent, they overheard words like "bomb", "explosive device", "terrorist threat". Love and Madonna stood on the grand antebellum veranda, all but lost in the swirl of ambulance chasing news outlets, attempting desperately to attract a camera lens and offer a comment. Ferris smirked at the spectacle.
